The track was supposed to drop on August 7th, but after vibing with Nicki Minaj in an Instagram Live session, Meg decided to have Nicki jump on the Juicy J-produced record along with Ty Dolla $ign…

And the result is a whole new level of hot girl shit.

Shortly after the song’s release, Meg took to Instagram to share a screenshot of “Hot Girl Summer” on iTunes with the caption, “Listennnn... Hotttiessss ...#1 in an hour on the hiphop/rap charts & #14 in all genres [crying face emojis] keep running them numbers up.”

The track is also trending worldwide on Twitter.
