On Tuesday, Rihanna teased her highly-anticipated, second-ever New York Fashion Week show on Instagram… And later that night, homegirl absolutely delivered.
This year’s Savage x Fenty show, which will be live-streamed by Amazon Prime Video on September 20th in over 200 countries and territories, highlighted diversity, inclusivity in fashion, and strength and movement.
And since there was a strict no-phone policy, here’s what Billboard saw go down in real life.
Rih opened the 40-minute set center stage wearing a velvet mini-skirt, diamond jewelry, red lipstick and a sky-high braided ponytail...
And although she didn't sing - ahem, where’s that album, girl - she did deliver some sultry dance moves.
Also, several high-profile models and artists shared the stage, including, Gigi Hadid, who strutted her stuff while Big Sean sang his Kanye West and Jay-Z collab "Clique"...
Before being joined by A$AP Ferg, for their new team-up, "Bezerk.”.
Then, Cara Delevingne debuted a new look to "Oops (Oh My)" by Tweet and Missy Elliott, ahead of 21 Savage making his own modeling appearance.
Possibly the best pairing came when Laverne Cox strutted her stuff, followed by Migos performing their Mustard collab, "Pure Water," while standing in an inch-deep pool on stage.
And it didn’t stop there… yeah I know!
Normani impressed attendees with intensive choreography, while outfitted in the 2019 fall/winter line…
Halsey performed her new song "Graveyard" - which isn’t even out until Friday - live for the first time...
Tierra Whack, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, and Fabolous gave us the "All I Do Is Win,” "All The Way Up," "Clones," "You Be Killin Em" mashup we never knew we needed…
And finally, Rihanna returned for a quick goodbye.
