Justin Bieber is sorry, and he just needs to get a few things off his chest.
On Monday, the singer took to Instagram to share a lengthy post apologizing for all of his “bad decisions,” and discussing his journey from small town child star, to millionaire super star.
First, Bieber opened up about his depression, before walking fans through the pressure he’s felt as a celebrity growing up in public, from an unstable home, with “no skills in the real world," millions in the bank and “access to whatever.”
He explained, “By 20 I made every bad decision you could have thought of and went from one of the most loved and adored people in the world to the most ridiculed, judged and hated person in the world.”
Justin then confessed to doing “pretty heavy drugs,” and admitted that he “abused” all of his relationships and became resentful, disrespectful to women and angry.”
But that was the old Bieber.
The now 25-year-old, a devout Christian, closed out his message by thanking God and Jesus, his support network, and his marriage to Hailey Baldwin, for helping him change for the better...
And hours later, he followed up with a more lighthearted post, sharing a photo of himself simply captioned, “Top Ramen.”
We’re so glad to see Justin getting healthy and happy. To check out his full message, head to Billboard.com, and until next time, for Billboard News, it’s your girl Jordyn Rolling.
