Which Artist Is Dominating 2019 So Far? Vote!

2020 is just around the corner, but before we get there, Billboard has to point out all of the incredible artists who’ve spent 2019 dominating the charts, dropping new music and focusing on their individual growth.

Let’s start with the youngest.

At 17, Billie Eilish scored her first Billboard Hot 100 leader with “Bad Guy,” making her the first artist born in this century (2001 to be exact) to do so.

This dethroned Lil Nas X, whose smash hit “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, reigned at No. 1 on the Hot 100 for a historic 19-week streak… also freaking dope.

Then there’s Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes, who also pulled off a No. 1 single this year with their steamy collab “Señorita”...

And other new artists like Lewis Capaldi and Lil Tecca, who’ve climbed all the way up to the top 5 of the Hot 100: Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved” reaches No. 3 this week, with Tecca’s “Ran$om” following directly behind at No. 4.

And of course we’ve got some music vets.

Drake, secured his ninth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with his archival compilation “Care Package.”

The Jonas Brothers made a chart-topping comeback when their single “Sucker,” from their third No. 1-charting LP “Happiness Begins,” skyrocketed to the top slot of the Hot 100, where it became their first No. 1.

And Post Malone and Taylor Swift also scored Billboard 200-leading albums, with “Hollywood’s Bleeding” and “Lover,” while simultaneously securing Hot 100 spots for every single song on their albums. That’s 17 for Post and 18 for TSwift!

We could go on and on, but we wanna know, which artist do YOU think is dominating 2019 so far? Head to Billboard.com to cast your vote! And until next time for Billboard News, it’s your girl Jordyn Rolling.
